Tactical Communications II

In May 2019, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) awarded a five (5) year, three billion dollar ($3B) contract to support tactical communications (TacCom) requirements.  This contract is the preferred source of TacCom equipment and services throughout the Department, as well as for other government organizations including the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of the Interior, and the White House Communications Agency.  This contract helps the government support legacy systems and provides access to emerging TacCom technologies and interoperability solutions. Large and small businesses under Technical Category 2 (TC2) offer comprehensive service capabilities that help clients define TacCom strategies; assess new and emerging TacCom technologies; design, engineer, test, and implement TacCom solutions; and manage TacCom programs and initiatives.
