Department of the Interior
Under 44 U.S.C. 3101, the head of each federal agency must make and preserve records containing documentation of their organization's functions, policies, procedures, decisions, and transactions. These records furnish the information necessary to protect the legal and financial rights of the Government and of any person directly affected by the agency's activities. As such, agencies establish and maintain records management programs in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) guidance and requirements in Title 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). This contract is a Blanket Purchase Agreement to support the records management requirements for the Department of the Interior's (DOI) Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) and Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM).
