Chief Executive Officer
Nick McCarter is the Chief Executive Officer at Chartis Federal. He leads corporate strategy and is actively engaged with the federal community to help shape the Chartis brand. Mr. McCarter founded the company in 2008 and has since guided its growth to over 100 professionals supporting customers across the United States. Washington Technology, CIOReview magazine, and Inc. magazine have all recognized Chartis for its growth, potential, and success as one of the country’s top private companies. Prior to joining Chartis, Mr. McCarter helped establish and develop IT consulting practices at Blueprint Technologies and Project Performance Corporation.
Mr. McCarter received his Bachelor's Degree from James Madison University, where he currently serves on the Executive Advisory Board for Computer Science. He is an advocate for Chartis Federal’s focus on giving back, including its charitable relationships with impactful organizations such as The Nature Generation, Arc of Northern Virginia, Wounded Warrior Project, Border Patrol Foundation, Operation Smile, Trekking for Kids, and Lombardi Foundation. Mr. McCarter lives in Leesburg, Virginia with his wife and three children, and is proud to invest in other hard-working small businesses in his local community.
Brian P. Creswick
Chief Operations Officer
Brian P. Creswick is the Chief Operations Officer at Chartis Federal. He leads corporate planning and provides oversight for business development, program delivery, and corporate administration. He has nearly 20 years of experience in federal policy, management, and technology initiatives with a specific focus on the homeland security mission. Mr. Creswick earned Chartis’ first contract within the Department of Homeland Security in 2009 and currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the Homeland Security Dialogue Forum and as an Advisory Board member for the Border Patrol Foundation.
Mr. Creswick received a Bachelor's Degree from James Madison University, a Master's Degree from George Mason University, and his Doctorate from the Global Executive Ed.D. program at the University of Southern California. Mr. Creswick lives with his wife and three children in Falls Church, VA where he supports several charitable organizations as a graduate of Leadership Fairfax’s Emerging Leaders Institute and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Falls Church Chamber of Commerce. In 2016, Mr. Creswick was recognized with the Commander Hap Day Chamber Appreciation Award for his efforts.
