Chartis Federal Receives Five-Year ITS-BISS Contract with the Environmental Protection Agency




Chartis Federal, an integration and engineering firm for the federal government, was awarded the Information Technology Solutions – Business Information Strategic Support (ITS-BISS) contract by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Chartis Federal will be teaming with Attain and MBL Technologies on this contract.


The contract is for five-years and $25 million. Chartis Federal is one of five small businesses awarded the opportunity.

Chartis Federal will be providing Independent Assessments and Support (IAS) Services under Functional Area 2 (FA2) of the contract through July 2023. Task orders will include systems analysis, acquisition support and independent assessments for EPA information technology/information management (IT/IM) investments.


Chartis Federal resources have supported the EPA ITS-BISS and ITS-BISS 2 contracts beginning in 2005. The company also brings a decade of experience and more than 100 professionals supporting $80 million of prime contracts, including with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Federal Protective Service (FPS).
