Alvin S. Church is a seasoned executive and Chief Financial Officer of Chartis Federal, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in federal contracting, finance, operations, and business development. A former United States Marine Corps officer, Alvin’s career has been shaped by the Marine Corps principles of leadership, accountability, and mission accomplishment. His firsthand experience serving alongside Marines and supporting military and federal agencies provides him with a deep understanding of the operational requirements, culture, and procurement environment of the United States Department of Defense and other federal customers.
As CFO of Chartis Federal, Alvin leads the company’s financial strategy, accounting, budgeting, compliance, and long-term planning efforts. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening financial controls, implementing advanced financial systems, enhancing reporting accuracy, and guiding the company through successful audits with zero findings. His strategic leadership has supported substantial revenue growth and positioned Chartis Federal for continued expansion in support of homeland security, law enforcement, and defense missions.
Throughout his career, he has led organizations through transformative growth, developed innovative protective equipment, and secured hundreds of millions of dollars in government contracts supporting the U.S. military, law enforcement, and first responders.
Alvin holds a Master of Science in Logistics from Florida Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from University of Memphis, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
