Chartis Federal, a Virginia-based integration and engineering firm for the federal government, was named a 2018 Moxie Award winner in the GovCon (100-201 employees) category.

The Moxie Awards honor companies who are bold and innovative in their business strategies in the Washington, D.C. area. Chartis Federal was also named a Moxie Award finalist in 2017.

Chartis Federal was founded in 2008 and has more than 100 employees located in 17 states. It supports more than $80 million of prime contracts, including with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Federal Protective Service (FPS). The company was also listed on the 2018 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.

Winners were announced at the awards reception on October 11 at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner.
